Sacred Heart Church - Emmeram
2587 Emmeram. From Catharine, go 1½ miles east on Catherine, 2 miles north on Codell, then 3 miles east on Emmeram. The 1901 Sacred Heart Church at Emmeram burned down in 1998, and the charred scent is still present. Parts of the limestone walls remain, and even in its ravaged state these ruins retain a sense of beauty. The parish closed in 1967.
