Burlington Carnegie Library
The 1913 Carnegie library was designed by well-known Kansas architects George Washburn and Son. In 2006 Gene and Barb Merry completed a restoration of the beautiful red-brick library and converted it into the office of Merry Investments and a meeting space. If the inside lights are on, you're welcome to stop to see the building or ask questions about Burlington. Learn why it's called the Restoration and Pressed Metal Ceiling Capital of Kansas! (NRHP)
