If the roads are dry, take this subtly spectacular less-traveled route from Monument Rocks to U.S. 83 or to Keystone Gallery. Along the way you’ll view chalk bluffs in a hilly pasture and pass the Pyramid View Cemetery. From the Chalk Pyramids, go 2½ miles south on 16, 4 miles west on E, 1 mile south on 450, then 1¾ miles west on Dakota to U.S. 83. Keystone Gallery is just west of the highway.
