Council Grove Old Stone Barn
From K-177, 2¼ miles east on U.S. 56, turn into the highway department drive and follow it west, then ¼ mile north. Seth Hays built the Big John limestone bank barn in 1871, now known locally as the old stone barn. The Morris County Poor Farm used the barn from 1889 to 1945. (NRHP)
