Rial A. Niles House
This 1870 redbrick home is impressive with a central cupola topping the Italianate structure. It also features walk-out windows and ornamental porch posts and arches. Built for business entrepreneur Rial Niles and his wife, Mary, the house has served as a social club, a church meeting place, and a residence. The stoutly built structure has survived two tornadoes, one in 1895 and more recently in 2014. New owners continue to restore the home and posts photos of their work on their Facebook page. Open for tours and events. Call ahead. (NRHP)
