A.L. Moffat
(Hillside Cemetery) With a touch of humor, the small red granite gravestone for A.L. Moffat is inscribed, “A.L. Moffat 1885- 1972 Lawyer Office Upstairs.” The stone is in section C1, block 1, plot 5. In Kinsley, the door at 113 E. 6th still reads, “A.L. Moffat, Lawyer.” In the secondstory windows of the 100 block of E. 6th, colorful paintings portray local citizens from the past. Among them is “upstairs lawyer” A.L. Moffat.
