Ancient Indian Traders Trail
From U.S. 36, 1/2 mile west to K-161. From this junction to the Nebraska state line, K-161 was designated the Ancient Indian Traders Trail in 2014 by the state legislature and is marked by a white disk. The trail was documented to have been used for thousands of years by various tribes traveling throughout this region for hunting, trading, tracking enemy tribes, seeking religious or sacred sites, and accessing fresh water and groves of trees in the arid climate.
