Sunflower

From Beloit, 7 miles south on K-14, 2 miles west on P, 2 miles south on 280, then ½ mile west on R. On the south side of the road a limestone marker informs us that the small community of Sunflower was founded on this spot in 1890, flourished for a short time, and faded away by the 1940s.
