Sumner County Chisholm Trail Marker

From Plum in Wellington, 7¾ miles west on U.S. 160, 1 mile south on Mayfield, then 1 mile east on W. 20 S. A red granite Chisholm Trail Marker can be seen in a former roadside park near Wellington Lake. The land where the marker stands was donated to the City of Wellington by Fred Rose, who traveled the famous trail as a child.
