Benedictine College
N. 2nd. This college was founded in 1971 through the merger of Mount St. Scholastica College for women and St. Benedict’s College for men. You’ll enjoy a drive around the hillside campus just to admire the architecture. Reminiscent of Germany’s Rhineland churches is St. Benedict’s Church on the corner of the campus at 2nd and Division. The doors of this beautiful edifice are open inviting you to come inside to see its vaulted ceiling, stained-glass windows, and fresco. The church was completed in 1906.
