Salemsborg Church
From Smolan, 3 miles south on S. Burma. Head for the twin steeples and you’ll find the Salemsborg church and cemetery. This 1926 church has two entrance doors, both inscribed “Salemsborg Lutheran EV Church,” but one inscription is in English and the other in Swedish. Near the cemetery Swedish artist Anton Pearson erected an outdoor sandstone pulpit. It’s at the exact spot where the pulpit stood inside the first sod church.
