Rocky Ford Outdoor Recreation Area

From Marlatt in Manhattan, 1 mile north on U.S. 24 (Tuttle Creek Blvd.), ¾ mile east and northwest on Rocky Ford, then just east on Mill. Because of the natural flat rock bottom, pioneers and the military could ford the Big Blue River here. It’s a scenic area with a 1908 gristmill dam creating a waterfall, and it is a river access point for canoes and kayaks.
