Old Mill Dam
From Washington, 1 mile south on Cement, 1¼ miles west on Golf Course (becomes Old Mill Dam Rd.), cross the railroad tracks, then immediately south and west 1,000 feet on Old Mill. Here, at Fall River, the old linseed mill, the dam, and the falls create a postcard-perfect scene. You can walk down to the water and dam for a closer view of the old mill. The original structure was built in 1891, burned in 1898, and the current mill rebuilt in 1900. This lovely Fall River setting is depicted in a mural at Madison and 7th in Fredonia.
