Jewish Cemetery

From Kansas in Garden City, 4 miles north on U.S. 83, then 4 miles west on Lowe to Chmelka. Four gravesites are the only visible remains of a small community of Jewish settlers in this area. Also known as Toper Cemetery, the burial ground recorded its first burial in 1884 and its last in 1933. Read more about L. Toper here.
