Home-Owned Carnival
From 4th, ½ mile south on Main, west into the park, and take the first right. In 1976 the locals heard about carnival rides in Colorado that were scheduled to be scrapped due to flood damage. The rides were brought to Sharon Springs, overhauled, and made ready for the next county fair. The Wallace County Amusement Association offers 13 rides and 11 games at the annual fair. You can see the “skeletons” of these rides resting at the fairgrounds year round.
