Coffey County Historical Museum
A gun collection, doll collection, a stocked covered wagon, and a 1947 fire truck are only a few of the artifacts that tell of the county's early days. The museum complex comprises many outdoor entities including old-fashioned playground equipment, a windmill, and portions of an iron truss bridge. Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 1-4 p.m. (The museum is open most weekends but it is recommended calling ahead to ensure the museum will be open during your visit.)
