Grinter House State Historic Site

1420 S. 78. Moses and Annie Grinter, two of Kansas’ earliest settlers, established this red-brick home near the site of the first ferry crossing at the Kansas River. When built, this 1857 Georgian vernacular home was on the Delaware Indian Reservation. May-October, Wednesday-Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (NRHP)
