Lander's Carriage & Wagon Shop
At this 1876 two-story stone carriage shop you can almost see the carriages and wagons pulling up outside, waiting their turn to be repaired. To keep up with the times, Charles Lander built the one-story red-brick wagon shop next door in 1910. This rare building is virtually unchanged, and its 19th-century woodworking machines and blacksmith’s forge are in working order. Currently Patrick Haire utilizes the building and its original furnishings for his woodworking business. Tour charge. Call ahead. (NRHP)
