Clock Tower Building
701 Oregon. The unique clock tower was built in 1891 as part of the First National Bank. The two-story, red-brick building with limestone trim and arched windows is a beautiful example of Richardson Romanesque architecture. Having fallen to disrepair, the structure was restored in 2010 to become the Frances Sewell Plamann History Center. City hall now occupies the first floor, and featured on the second floor along with temporary art exhibits is the colorful 1963 Ron Allerton mural depicting the history of Brown County.
