Devil's Gap
From U.S. 36, 13 miles north on K-27, 4 miles west on W, then 2 1/2 miles north on 3. Look for the red-disk marker. On New Year's Day 1865 American Indian tribes that had camped at Cherry Creek passed through here enroute to attack Old Julesburg, Colorado. The depths of the canyons at this point are astounding. Dry weather roads.
