Wabaunsee Pines Pinecone

From K-99/K-4 at Lake Wabaunsee, 2¼ miles south and east on E. Flint Hills along the southeast side of the lake. You are looking for a pine cone. A big one. Made from shovel heads. Resting on a large native stone base, it was a project of the Lady Lakers and master welder Doug Clark. The pine cone greets those who play golf on the nine-hole course at Wabaunsee Pines Golf Course.
