Sommerset Hall
5701 SW Douglas. Alfred Sage built this long, narrow wooden structure in the late 1890s, and it remains the pulse of this tiny town. The lower floor carries a few grocery items and shares most of the space with the cafe. The menu includes the standard breakfast and lunch favorites and some of the best pie in the state. It is a legendary stop for travelers, by car or bicycle. Tuesday-Thursday 7 a.m.-2 p.m.; Friday 7 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-7:30 p.m.; Saturday 7-11 a.m.
