Smoky Hill Museum

211 W. Iron. Housed in a 1938 art deco post office, the museum brings Salina and the surrounding Smoky Hills region to life in beautifully designed exhibits. It’s a museum that’s fun for all ages! "Land and Communication," the Section art bas-reliefs on the building’s front exterior, are by artists Carl Mose and Jon Johnson. Tuesday-Friday 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Donation welcome. (NRHP)
