Pony Express Grave

From U.S. 36, 3 miles south on K-148, then ¼ mile east on 16. In Pine Hill Cemetery lies one of the oldest riders of the Pony Express, Ezra Perkins. His gravestone, the first on the left, tells us that he died in 1906, and a small bronze plaque states that he was an express rider. More information about Perkins can be found at Hollenberg station.
