Logan Fountain Sculptures
The fountain was added to the park in 1948 as a memorial to Robert Logan, park supporter. A recent renovation has the fountain once again flowing in splendor around the well-landscaped area. On a brick oval sidewalk around the fountain, a life-sized sculpture of William Inge portrays him sitting on a bench with pen in hand. Nearby, three sculpture sets each depict a scene from his plays Picnic; The Dark at the Top of the Stairs; and Come Back, Little Sheba.
