Hiawatha Armory

In front of the armory, built in 1938 by the WPA, stands a row of trees and in front of each tree a granite marker recognizes a member of the “130th Regiment Who Rose to the Rank of General Officer.” UPDATE 2021: The row of trees have been removed. On the south side of the front entrance a new tree has been planted and the granite markers have been placed flat in the ground by the tree. It now called the "General's Walk."
