Greenwood County Historical Museum

Ranching, farming, and oil-boom exhibits, plus historic photos of all the towns in the county (including the ghost town of Teterville) are featured in the museum's new building. You'll also learn about the area's orphan train children, black settlers, nationally recognized sculptor and Eureka native Jim Brothers, and dolls handmade by local women employed by the WPA. Excellent genealogical information is available. February-October, Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Hours irregular November-January. Also open by appointment.
