Mildred Store
Formerly known as Charlie Brown's, this grocery store's traditions are carried on by new owners Loren and Regena Lance. (The former owners were Charles Brown and his wife, Lucille, thus the Peanuts connection.) The deli still serves the popular Charlie Brown sandwich piled high with meat and cheese. This little store fills a big need in the community and has been a mainstay in Mildred for more than 100 years. Live music is a special treat every third Saturday of the month. An RV park has also been added next door. Monday-Saturday 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sunday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
