Gage Park
635 SW Gage. The park was once the Gage family farm, but in 1899 it was donated to be developed into a park. The Topeka Zoological Park, a mini-train with a mile-long track, an operating 1908 carousel complete with 1900 Wurlitzer band organ, the Gage Park War Memorial, and the beautiful Reinisch Rose Garden are special highlights within the park. The rose garden, established in 1930, features more than 350 varieties of roses and blooms June through October. Admission charges for zoo, mini-train, and carousel.
