Camp Concordia WWII Guardhouse
1557 Union. From Concordia, 2 miles north on U.S. 81, then 1 mile east on Union. The most complete remnant of the POW camp is the restored limestone guardhouse. The base of the camp water tower is visible in the field to the north, and just east of the guardhouse are the camp’s stone entrance pillars and wall. The small white house north of the entrance was the main gate guard post.
