Howard City Lake
From Adams, ¼ mile south on K-99, then 1¼ miles east on Killdeer. Also known as Polk Daniels Lake, its attractive stone arch entrance, shelter houses, and walkways are 1930s WPA projects. A popular fishing lake, it is surrounded by woods and prairie grass.
