Brown Grand Theatre
310 W. 6th. Restored to its 1907 glory, this 650-seat theatre features gold decorative molding and lights around the proscenium arch, brass rails in front of the box seats, and forest green curtains behind them. Self-guided and guided tours present an entirely new view of this Carl Boller designed theatre. The stage curtain, with its immense painting of French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, was a gift to theater owner Napoleon Bonaparte Brown from his son Earl V.D. Brown.
