Wamego City Park
406 E. 4th. In addition to the historical museum complex, this 1901 picturesque park features two statues (the Goddess of Science and the Goddess of Art) purchased by J.C. Rogers at the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition. Additionally, this setting includes the Ernie White crane sculpture atop a 100-year-old glacial stone fountain, and the colorful Children’s Train, which offers rides through the 12-acre park. Train hours, April 15-October 15, Thursday, Saturday 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 p.m.
