Stanton County Museum
Inside a handsome sandstone shop built by the WPA in 1935, county exhibits focus on WPA projects, including Manter Dam. Dust Bowl photographs bring a reality to the 1930s, and additional displays provide a general background of early county life. This well-landscaped complex includes a 1923 Santa Fe depot, a caboose, an 1887 jail, a 1920s home, the 1920s Scott Garage that houses antique vehicles, and a Vosberg tin-clad grain elevator. Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday 1-4 p.m.
