401 U.S. 83. From Oakley, 26 miles south on U.S. 83. Barbara Shelton and Chuck Bonner can answer just about any geological or historical question you have about the area. Inside their historic 1917 limestone building are over 30 fossil specimens on display including a large xiphactinus fossil fish, a seven-foot pteranodon wing, and a 21-foot mosasaur. Chuck's artwork portrays area landscapes, often in abstract or whimsical application. Hours irregular, call ahead.
