Historic Ensor Park and Museum
18995 W. 183rd. From E. Old 56, 5 miles south on K-7, then 1 mile east on 183. The home of Marshall Ensor, an Olathe teacher and pioneer in amateur radio, and his sister Loretta, this 1892 farmhouse invites you to see its antique furniture, domestic displays, and ham radio equipment, and to learn about the Ensors extraordinary work in the radio field. A barn from the same period constructed with rough-sawn lumber and wood-peg beams is also open to visitors. May, June, September, October, Saturday-Sunday 1-5 p.m. (NRHP)
