Hangman's Bridge
The Hangman’s Bridge marker tells the story of mob hangings here during the town’s early years from 1869 to 1870. To find this aged bronze monument, from the Rome stone marker, go 350 feet south on Rome, then ¼ mile east on Old U.S. 40 (a.k.a. N. Campus Drive).
