Grand Old Mill
The grand old mill a Second Empire style building, was constructed in 1879 as the Monarch Steam Mill. In 1886 Bernhard Warkentin purchased it and converted it to a roller mill (NRHP) to handle the Turkey Red hard winter wheat. The historic structure has had several lives, and survives today as Old Mill Plaza housing several businesses.
