Galena Liberty Hall
720 S. Main. Inside this 1887 restored IOOF building, now used for business offices, is a floor like nothing you’ve seen (or stepped on) before—you’re walking on $4,000 worth of pennies! Do the math, kids. That’s 400,000 pennies. It’s thought to be the largest coin floor in the nation. The upper floor has been restored as an event center and features a copper ceiling and original wood beams and floor. The building occupants will gladly let you look around.
