El Quartelejo Museum
902 W. 5th. Cattle and pioneer history, fossils, and American Indian heritage are showcased inside this Southwest style museum. Exhibits feature the archeology of the El Quartelejo pueblo ruins of the late 1600s, the nomadic Indians who camped nearby in the 1500s, and the Battle of Punished Woman's Fork.
