Chaplin Nature Center
From Summit, 3 miles west on U.S.166, 2 miles north on 31, just west on 272, then just north on 27. If the visitor center is open, start there to see the displays about area wildlife. The six hiking trails are very enjoyable and include routes along the river, into wooded areas, and through a reconstructed prairie. Trails are open daily. The nature center is owned by the Wichita Audubon Society.
