Brookville Hotel
From I-70 Abilene exit 275 1/2 mile north on K-15. This famous dining experience dates to 1915 and to the small town of Brookville west of Salina. Since 2000 the legacy continues in this Abilene facility re-created just as it was in Brookville's historic hotel and bank. The Brookville Hotel was sold and reopened in 2022 under the new name Legacy Kansas. The new owners, the Munson Family, still serve the famous Brookville fried chicken dinners but you can also order a steak dinners cut from Munson's award-winning, premium Angus beef. Reservations are recommended. Thursday 4:30-6:30 p.m.; Friday-Saturday 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 4:30-7 p.m.; Sunday 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
