Whitewater Falls Stock Farm Barn

From River Valley, 1½ miles west on K-254, just north on Adams, ½ mile west on Old Hwy 254, 2 miles north on Santa Fe Lake, short jog east on Parallel, ½ mile north on Santa Fe, just east on 4, then just north on Falls. You’ve arrived at this amazing barn, well worth the drive to find! J.W. Robison, a Percheron horse breeder, built this 64x120-foot wooden barn in 1908. It had 50 stalls, steam heat, gas lights, its own water plant, and a balcony. It almost looks too fancy, even in its deteriorated state, to be a barn! The good news is that owners Duane and Amanda Busenitz are restoring it. You may take pictures but do not enter the barn. In dry weather, carefully continue just north on Falls through the tree line to a low-water bridge. Don’t attempt to cross unless the road is dry.
