Old Johnson County Courthouse
The new courthouse built in 1952 replaced the 1891 structure designed by revered architect George Washburn. The last addition to the 1952 courthouse was finished in 1976. Many historical area photos are displayed just inside the south doors. Security makes it prohibitive to go farther inside. Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
