909 N. K-7. With displays and various animals, the oldest nature center in Johnson County offers opportunities for all ages for understanding and admiring nature in its many forms. Lush foliage and creeks make the center’s three trails popular walking spots. Nature Center hours, Monday-Saturday 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m; Sunday 1-4:30 p.m.; trails hours, daily dawn to dusk.
