Rent a quadricycle, made for two to six riders, at the Hemslöjd, 201 N. Main, and pedal yourself around this splendid town. Or bring your own bicycle or walk the two-and-a-half-mile sidewalk Valkommen Trail that follows an old rail bed. The trail incorporates a historic railroad bridge over the Smoky Hill River at the south end of the route. More fun includes a game of chess on an outdoor board (bring your own chess pieces) at Viking Valley Playground in Swensson Park, and a trip down Thor’s Revenge water slide at the swimming pool, 520 S. 1st.
