Law Enforcement Memorial
Main and Central. Since 1871 29 City of Wichita and Sedgwick County law enforcement officers have losttheir lives in the line of duty. Tohonor them, replicas of thesefallen officers' boots, sculpted by Connie Ernatt, are lined across a stone ledge. Identifying plaques are placed above each pair. Look for this memorial behind the large statues of a lion and lioness.
