1 Sherman. Before entering the fort, visitors must stop at the Visitor Control Center at 4th and Metropolitan to receive a temporary pass. Vehicle drivers must have a valid driver’s license plus current registration and proof of insurance. Passengers 16 and over must also show a driver’s license or other form of photo identification. Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-4 p.m.; Second Saturday of the month 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
