Dyck Arboretum of the Plains
The Kansas flora is showcased at this lovely prairie garden. Take a stroll on the half-mile path around the lake surrounded by 13 acres of landscaped native wildflowers, grasses, shrubs, and trees. Scientific and common names of plants are noted on the easy-to-read labels. In addition to native plants you'll see ceramic sculptures, created by Kansas artist Conrad Snider, with inspirational quotations that enhance and give deeper meaning to this natural setting.
