Black Bison Pub
122 N. Main. Native son Matt Gould moved home after serving in the military, and decided the town needed a pub. He renovated a two-story building and created a perfect setting for serving Kansas foods in a trendy, polished-wood interior. The pub is now in the hands of Tommy and Janet Thomaczek, and the food and drink still celebrate Kansas! The bar serves an impressive array of craft cocktails and 30 different beers. For dining, bison burgers and steaks are the stand-out specials, and other favorites include homemade hummus and fish and chips. Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-10 p.m. MT. . FB.
